This case appears to involve a WhatsApp romance scam connected to the name Tetiana Prokopenko. The submitted screenshots show a conversation where the woman used romantic language, emotional pressure, personal photos, a video-style media message, bank details, and a Ukrainian passport image to make the story look credible.

The communication was highly emotional from the beginning. The woman addressed the victim with words such as “Sweetheart” and presented the relationship as serious and romantic. In one message, she accepted the idea of becoming his wife, which is a strong manipulation tactic often used to move the victim quickly from casual communication to financial trust.

The next stage was the request for payment evidence. She asked the victim to resend receipts to the email address tatiaynaprokopenko@gmail.com, claiming there was a problem with Wi-Fi and that she still had not received the pictures. This detail suggests that payment confirmation was important to the scheme.

When the victim mentioned problems with MoneyGram and Western Union, the woman redirected the conversation toward a bank transfer. She wrote that the only solution was her bank account, or that the victim could come to Kyiv and apply for her visa together. This is a typical escalation pattern: when one payment channel fails, the scammer offers another method.

The submitted screenshots include bank transfer details under the beneficiary name Prokopenko Tetiana, with an address in Luhansk, Ukraine, an account number ending in 4884791, and PrivatBank listed as the beneficiary bank. The use of direct bank information makes this case stronger than a simple profile-photo report.

The case also includes a Ukrainian passport image in the name Prokopenko Tetiana Oleksandrivna. In romance scams, a passport photo is often used to reduce doubts and make the victim believe the woman is real, ready to travel, or preparing documents for a meeting. A passport image alone does not prove that the person behind the WhatsApp account is genuine.

The overall pattern is clear: romantic attachment first, then payment pressure, then alternative payment channels, then identity documents and personal media to keep the victim emotionally committed. The victim is encouraged to continue helping because the relationship is presented as serious, intimate, and close to a real meeting.
