The woman allegedly encouraged attachment, accepted gifts, and maintained romantic interest, but avoided meaningful verification. When the victim asked for proof of identity, a passport, or a live video conversation, she reportedly refused or delayed. This is a typical sign of a dating scam involving a fake or misleading identity.
Another important red flag is the pattern of repeated excuses linked to money or support.
