Updated scam pattern: This profile has received a new warning report. The woman previously listed as Oksana Vovk from Pavlohrad, Ukraine now appears to be connected to a newer Tinder and WhatsApp-based romance scam pattern.

According to the new report, the man first met her on Tinder, where she used the name Lilia. Shortly after, the conversation moved to WhatsApp, where the same contact appeared under the name Valentyna. She claimed to be from Donetsk, Ukraine, and used the Ukrainian phone number +380 95 763 6034.

The emotional story was built around the war in Ukraine. She claimed that she was suffering because of the war and had lost her parents. This type of tragic background is often used in romance scams to create fast sympathy, emotional pressure, and a sense of moral obligation.

After establishing trust, she asked for financial support more than once. The man refused to send money. He later used the photos she had sent him to search online and found that at least one of the images matched this profile on our scammer database.

At this stage, there are two possible explanations. Either the same person is still active under new names, or another scammer is using her photos to deceive men on dating apps. In both cases, this is a high-risk profile. The use of different names, movement from Tinder to WhatsApp, a war-related tragedy story, and repeated money requests are serious warning signs.

Known names used in this case: Oksana Vovk, Lilia, Valentyna.

Known phone number used in the new report: +380 95 763 6034.

Reported platforms: Tinder and WhatsApp.

Main red flags: different names on different platforms, quick migration to WhatsApp, emotional war-related story, claims of losing parents, repeated requests for money, and photos already linked to a known scammer profile.

If you are communicating with a Ukrainian woman online and she asks for money because of war, travel, documents, illness, family tragedy, or emergency expenses, do not rely on photos or emotional stories alone. Before sending money, order a professional verification of a Ukrainian woman.

If she sends you a passport, ID card, visa, travel document, or any other official-looking document, use our Ukrainian passport verification service before trusting it. Fake Ukrainian documents are commonly used to support romance scam stories.

If you only have photos, a phone number, or a dating profile, we can also help you identify a person by picture and check whether the same face appears in other scam reports, social networks, webcam profiles, or dating fraud cases.

This case is a reminder that a scammer may use the same woman’s photos under different names. The real person in the pictures and the person writing to you may not be the same individual. Always verify before sending money.
