Scheme fraud: This woman scammed me by getting me to make several transfers to her bank account under the name Karina Belova, and this is the passport the scammer uses.
The scam was like this: I met her on the dating site fdating and had been talking to her for several months. She always told me she was in Ukraine, so we decided to meet, and I would help her get out of there and come to my country. I sent her money to get a passport because she claimed she didn’t have enough money. Then I sent money for her to buy a bus ticket to go to Warsaw, and also money for a plane ticket to my country. In total, I sent $1,000.
Then the date came, and she said she was traveling, but when I asked for flight information, she never gave me concrete answers. Later, she came up with a story that the flight was delayed, then another story that she missed the flight and the airline wouldn’t let her board the next flight or refund her money, which is not how airlines typically operate. Then the story changed again, and she said the ticket she bought was fake. I insisted she send me proof...
Eventually, she said she found a photo of the ticket. After I insisted a lot, she sent me a photo of a ticket, and it was clear that the photo had been altered in the part with her name and the destination. By scanning the barcode on the ticket, I discovered that the ticket was for Amsterdam in someone else's name. After that, she blocked me on Facebook and Instagram and stopped responding to her Telegram number, which is +380 67 941 29 54.
