Scheme fraud:
This profile concerns a reported online dating scam case involving the name Irina Makohon. According to the victim report, the contact started on the dating app Bumpy and later continued on Telegram.
The reported scam pattern was built around trust, passport money, and a promised visit. She allegedly promised to obtain a passport, come to the victim, and continue the relationship in person. The victim says he paid for her passport and also supported her with money for food and personal experiences.
Over time, she allegedly created many explanations for why she could not travel. The stories included personal problems, family tragedy, and other delays. This is a common romance scam tactic: the meeting always appears close, but each new stage creates another reason for delay or another need for support.
The final stage was an alleged airport meeting. According to the victim, she gave a specific date and time when she would supposedly be at the airport. Nobody arrived, and after that the Telegram conversation disappeared. This is a typical “airport no-show” scam pattern.
The main warning sign is the combination of passport payment, emotional stories, ongoing support, and a failed real-world meeting. A real person who genuinely intends to travel should be able to provide verifiable travel details, consistent documents, direct communication, and clear proof of movement.
If a woman you met on Bumpy, Telegram, WhatsApp, or another dating platform asks for passport money, food support, or travel help before a real meeting, verify her first. Our Ukrainian woman verification service helps check whether the photos, identity, location, messenger account, and travel story belong to the same real person.
If she claims she needs money for a Ukrainian passport, our Ukrainian passport verification service can help check whether any submitted passport image is consistent and technically credible. If you only have photos, our person identification by photo service can help determine whether the images are reused or connected to another identity.
