First name, Last name: Inna Sribniak

Country, City: Ukraine, Kyiv

Scheme fraud: I paid for the passport, and 350 USD additional to pay something down on the original defaulted credit card debt, because the next step was that she was going to be raised and they would confiscate all her belongings. She gave me 13 pages of documents in Russian supposedly showing the court action against her for the defaulted credit card. She also gave me papers showing the payment I gave her of 350 USD was applied to the account. We were going to meet in Warsaw so I paid $450 USD for the passport and medical tests. At that time, she supposedly left the passport with the Ukrainian authorities to have it sent to Warsaw to the American embassy there, to get the American Visa. I said no. I did not agree to a visa. We must first meet in a neutral country, Poland. Then she said, OK since I don’t need the visa I will go retrieve my passport. That is when the story popped up that they are holding the passport because of the debt, and she is essentially a hostage in her own country until this $5000 debt is paid. I said I’m not paying it. So then she quit talking to me for 4 days and then said she mortgaged her mom’s house for a month to pay the other loan. I said, “a month. That’s crazy as hell!” Then she said I meant a year. The translator completed the sentence with “month” instead of “year”. So the deal now is she will try to get me to make payments on this mortgage. In the meantime, she can’t travel to Warsaw to see me.
