According to the victim report, the contact started on Tinder and then continued on Telegram for about three months. This is a common romance scam pattern: the dating app is used for the first contact, and then the conversation is moved to a private messenger where the scammer can build emotional trust without platform moderation.
The reported scheme involved a request for 250 euros for a trip to Poland, allegedly to escape the war. After the first payment, the woman reportedly started pressuring the victim to send more money.
