Scheme fraud: I’ll never know if this woman was real or not but it still hurts either way. A lot of the red flags were there but we talked through e-mail every day and she called me a few times. She kept having issues traveling and of course because she would provide me with paperwork on what she was saying to prove it I obliged like an idiot. I will not disclose how much it costs since it’s really embarrassing that I should’ve just walked away but at the time and our conversations were really deep and felt like it was really going somewhere and not a scam. She’s from Russia and actually tried to travel here to America and went to Poland and didn’t have proper paperwork when traveling from Russia and was sent back when she called me from there. She sent me the photo of the fine when it happened. A month or so after that she made it to New York and called me from jfk airport but had another issue and had to go back home. She went through turkey a few times and got robbed and photos to prove it, got detained, had Covid, family emergencies and the list goes on and on with what happened. I looked up her photos on a reverse search and got nothing. I researched the paperwork and found nothing. She just disappeared from me a little over a month ago after I sent her some money for another ticket since they had to have insurance now to travel and I checked and it was true but never heard for her since. I don’t know if she was real or not or why after 14 months of real talks and conversations on the phone why it just ended like that. It’s been very confusing and ruined my life in some aspects and embarrasses me to even think or talk about it. Here are some pictures of her she sent me. I wish I just would’ve walked away a long time ago and never went through this but sometimes you never know if it’s real or not and isn’t as easy to tell as people make it seem at least not in this case for me. I thought it may have been real because she actually traveled and tired to send some of my money back when we were losing hope. If she was real then where did she go? Those are the things that will bother me but I’ll just move on and fix my mistakes.
