Scheme fraud: The scam was obvious from the very beginning as Anna Balan emailed me out of the blue. She claims her address is in Ukraine, Zhytomyr, Ivan Mazepa street, 139, apartment 48, index 10001. I was visiting various websites offering dating services from Russian and Ukrainian women (very beautiful women btw) and at no time did I ever create a profile or otherwise post any pictures of myself or anything. In fact, I was looking for scams as I am interested in cyber crime. "Anna Balan" began sending me very saucy pictures and short videos, with some graphic nudity. What you have in the sample is the latest in the string of emails that lasted only about one week. In this email, the IP address is 188.162.43.201 as the source. DNSchecker.org sources this IP from the city of Yoshkar-Ola in Mariy El, Respublika in Russia. Supposedly, Anna Balan is in Kyiv Ukraine right now. She has asked for money in this email and uses some common techniques to prey on the trusting. Hopefully this will be a small way to contribute to fighting romance scams.
